Ministry Trip - Summer of 2010

We are now home after traveling the eastern half of the United States for the purposes of serving the body of Messiah and proclaiming the TRUE good news of the Kingdom of Yahweh to all who will hear, a Kingdom that is ruled and will be ruled by Yahweh's commandments in both the Old Testament and New (Isaiah 2:3, 66:23, Zech 14:16).

On this trip, we sought to:

  • Proclaim the good news of Yahushua in various public places, passing out tracts wherever we go and engaging the culture wherever we are about the need to keep Yahweh's commandments and believe in Yahushua for remission of sin.

  • Visit those who desire to be baptized in Yahushua's name, and baptize them

  • Visit any brethren who are in need of encouragement, healing, a visit, or ministry in some way.

  • Visit various churches and share with them about the Hebrew Roots of Christianity. We plan to pass out the Hebrew Roots DVD taken from this web site and speak at any churches that would invite us to speak

  • Distribute the Hebrew Roots DVD and tracts in churches and public places

  • When possible, plant a sign offering 7pm Bible studies at whatever campground we happen to be staying in.

  • We are very grieved that the most dangerous place to live in America is "inside Mommy" :( So we visited abortion clinics and try to deliver the little ones who are drawn toward death (Proverbs 24:11).

I posted our daily activities on this web page, as well as Facebook and Twitter.

Daily updates:

9/8/2010 - After spending 12 weeks on the road, traveling over 11,000 miles, passing through or visiting 20 different states, and baptizing 63 believers in Yahushua's name, we finally arrived at our Ozark home this afternoon. It has truly been a blessing visiting every single one of you, and I will never forget the awesome experience of "Going therefore.." (Matt 28:18-20).

To those of you I had the honor of visiting, thank you for your hospitality, your generosity, your support and your Messiah-like love. I miss everyone I've met and I have no doubt that Yahweh's people are the most precious people in the world. It is so good to walk together with all of you. With the power that Yahweh gives us, let's keep on walking, seeking, finding and rejoicing. I love you all.

Praise Yahweh for making all of this possible and for keeping us safe as we traveled. If Yahweh wills, we will head west next year!

9/7/2010 - We spent the day yesterday with the brethren in Cullman, AL and had a nice day of fellowship there. Earlier in the day I witnessed to a Mormon at Wal-Mart for quite a while. He seemed to like learning about the Hebrew Roots and I shared with him that we can't accept the book of Mormon because it violates the 3rd and 4th commandments by removing Yahweh's name and promoting Sunday Sabbath. Isaiah 8:20. Today we traveled to Walnut Ridge, Arkansas and hope to be home tomorrow afternoon.

9/5/2010 - We finally started heading toward our Missouri home today but plan on spending some time with the brethren in Cullman, Alabama on the way. On our way to Cullman we experienced a flat tire on the camper and had to call roadside service. The tire was too severely damaged to repair so I had to call a different company to get another tire. One company was owned by Christians so I gave them a "Preaching for Jesus?" tract. The fellow from the other company got a tract as well. We plan to be home by the 8th.

9/2/2010 - We met with some brethren from the area today and after some nice fellowship we went to an abortion clinic in Greensboro and held up our signs. Afterward we "caravanned" up to a park about 50 miles away and met with another brother who came down from VA to get baptized. 3 were baptized in the river.

9/1/2010 - We traveled from Washington, DC area to Danville, VA yesterday and met with a brother there this morning. Afterward we traveled to Greensboro, NC and met with several believers from the area. Two of them were baptized in Yahushua's name. We are planning to spend the rest of the week here in NC with more baptisms planned.

8/30/2010 - This morning we met with 2 believers from PA who traveled to our campsite and I baptized them in the Potomac River. Afterward we traveled to Washington DC and picketed in front of an Abortion Clinic located only about 5 blocks from the White House. It was in the midst of George Washington University campus so there was a lot of foot traffic there.

Several people voiced their support for what we were doing and were surprised at the offer to raise a child who would otherwise be aborted. Across the street a couple of women held up pro-choice signs.

We also talked with some Jews who wondered why we were wearing tzit tziyot (Tassels) and told them that the Messiah did not abolish the Torah but He kept it Himself and His apostles did as well. One of them said that's the most logical thing he's ever heard from 'the other side.' We gave him our website business card.

See photos of the efforts in Washington, DC here

8/29/2010 - Yesterday we met with two other families at the National Cathedral in Washington DC and placed a lot of tracts on the various cars in the parking lot there. Out of curiosity I watched some of the service, which reminded me of a Catholic Mass.

Afterward we went to the large lawn (called the Mall) that spans between the Capitol building and the Lincoln Memorial and passed out hundreds of tracts to people there. All of the children were especially active in participating, standing in the sidewalk and giving them to those who passed by. It was a blessing to see. We spoke to several Christians and gave them Hebrew Roots DVD's. We'll be going back to the DC area again today to picket an Abortion Clinic.

8/27/2010 - Today we met with 2 families here in Washington DC area and after some good fellowship we baptized 6 of them in Yahushua's name. At least one of the families will be joining us for ministry on the 1st day of the week along the Washington DC Mall. I had 500 tracts printed for distribution. After a very nice dinner we all worked together to fold the tracts. Pray that Yahweh will prepare the hearts of all who read them to receive His truth.

8/26/2010 - We drove from Long Island to Whiting, NJ to meet with a brother for fellowship & encouragement. We had a very nice meeting at the local park and sang some songs together well into the night-time hours. Early this morning we traveled to New Castle, Delaware and baptized a brother in Yahushua's name in the Delaware River.

Afterward we traveled about an hour south of Washington, DC to set up for the weekend. We plan to baptize some brethren tomorrow and they'll be joining us for some ministry in the nation's capital on the 1st day of the week. Pray that Yahweh prospers our way.

8/24/2010 - We traveled to a town on Long Island called Babylon (yes, really) and distributed a good number of tracts throughout the main thoroughfare. Afterward we boarded the train to Manhattan and distributed tracts on the cars in front of Madison Square Garden and throughout the city. Several of the cars were marked as being owned by news and media outlets. I also handed tracts to those I felt Yahweh leading me to give them to.

Afterward we traveled by subway to the Coney Island beach to meet with a brother who was in need of baptism. I baptized him in the Atlantic Ocean. We had to take a taxi back to Babylon where we parked our truck because our parking meter was running out.

8/23/2010 - We met with some believers this morning in Coatesville, PA and after some nice fellowship we baptized 3 in Yahushua's name. Afterward, we traveled through NYC to the east side of Long Island, New York where more baptisms are planned tomorrow. Pray that we can effectively shine a light here.

8/22/2010 - After the broadcast yesterday we had some good fellowship with believers from nearby Oil City, PA. We attempted a baptism but the rain was strong and the river was shallow so they came back early this morning. We baptized 3 of them in Yahushua's name at beautiful Tionesta Lake. After a brief visit with my grandfather we traveled to Coatesville, PA where more baptisms are planned tomorrow morning.

8/20/2010 -
More trials today. We were heading toward Oil City and one or two of the spark plug wires on the truck quit functioning so I had to travel 100 miles on low power. I got to Tionesta and found the wires were resting against a hot pipe and burned out. I replaced them while visiting with my 94 yr. old grandfather and other relatives who happen to live in the same area as some believers who were seeking baptisms.

Afterward we left and I added some gasoline to the truck at the local gas station and was planning to use my own personal funds to pay for the gas but then realized my wallet was missing. I retraced my steps but still can't find it so please pray.

Yahweh willing, we'll be doing the broadcast from our camper tomorrow and have some baptisms and fellowship afterward.

8/19/2010 - We finally got the truck repaired and headed to Madison, OH yesterday to visit with a family who was interested in a visit for fellowship & encouragement. We planned to leave today and head toward Oil City, PA for some baptisms but the truck had a bad spark plug/wire so we ended up getting those replaced along with a sensor. I personally paid for portions of these repairs with my own money.

We now have our 5 year old daughter Leanna with us instead of Michelle (who is going back home with Kelly) and she enjoyed handing tracts to patrons at Wal-Mart this evening :) We'll be spending Shabbat in PA before heading to the east coast (Yahweh willing).

Kara & KolaYah were sick for a few days but are on the mend. Thanks for your prayers; we've had some trials but with Yahweh's help we will overcome and press on.

8/13/2010 - We located a mechanic that's scheduled to repair the truck on the 16th. Meanwhile we passed out tracts in Buckeye Lake and we also moved the camper to a less expensive park. I've paid a portion of camping fees and fuel expenses while were here. We'll be preparing and setting up for the broadcast here at my parents home today and we're planning on heading toward the East coast after repairs. Keep us in prayer...

8/10/2010 - On the first day of the week we met with some believers from Cincinnati who were seeking baptism in Yahushua's name, and baptized them in the spring fed pool. Afterward I went out with 2 other brethren into the town of Yellow Springs to pass out tracts and engage the culture there. Yellow Springs is very liberal, once called "the hippie capital of the Midwest" and now is full of people seeking New Age, Wicca, Eastern and Native American religions. We spoke with several there about The WAY and handed them The True Way of Love tract. One person said, "That's a good place to start" when he saw the tract title. We also distributed them on various bulletin boards and other places. Pray it bears fruit.

Afterward we traveled to Buckeye Lake to meet with family, brethren and to distribute more tracts throughout the area. Today I'm getting caught up on business & ministry matters, laundry, cleaning, maintenance and other tasks I've not had time to do.

Our truck needs a new exhaust manifold and gasket so I need to find a mechanic. It had been making noise for a while but my father in law (an experienced mechanic) said it could harm the engine to keep running it like this while pulling a trailer. It could be quite expensive because some bolts need to removed from deep inside the engine block. Please keep us in prayer about that and about where to go next, and when.

8/7/2010 - We drove to Yellow Springs, Ohio yesterday for the Friends and Fellowship gathering. I shared part of the Kingdom message with them and plan to share part 2 this evening. Eddie Chumney was not able to make it to the gathering so Stephen Oliver will speak in his place. We plan on doing the broadcast today from one of their conference rooms.

8/4/2010 -  Planning on spending tomorrow, Shabbat and part of the 1st day of the week at the Friends & Fellowship retreat in Yellow Springs, Ohio. See http://tecumsehcouncilbsa.org/PDF/BirchBro3_Scrn.pdf  for a description of the park. I'll be speaking at 7pm tomorrow night and 6pm Shabbat. Eddie Chumney will be the other speaker ...at the gathering. Hope to see some of you there. Contact me if you want more details http://eliyah.com/contact.html

8/3/2010 - More surprises today as we were about to head out of Eaton Rapids when one of the brethren I had talked to about baptism asked if I would baptize him in Yahushua's name before we left. After baptizing him, two others asked to be baptized as well...blessed be Yahweh :) After some goodbyes we drove to Sandusky, OH where I'll be having some R & R with my family. I'm taking my whole family to Cedar Point, then my wife and I will go alone on the following day. We're covering our own expenses for the campsite, fuel, etc. during this time.

A neat testimony also, my wife & grandparents were in town yesterday when the truck would not start. Someone in a small car tried to give them a jump but it wouldn't go. They decided to pray that Yahweh would send them someone to help. About 3 minutes later a fellow in a big truck pulled right next to them with a big set of jumper cables. He said that the Heavenly Father must have sent him to us. They determined that the battery was bad, so they picked up a replacement and were on their way. HalleluYah :)

8/2/2010 - Really good day yesterday. My wife & daughter drove up overnight on a surprise visit. I was sitting and listening to one of the speakers when they came up behind me. I was pretty shocked :) It's our 20th year anniversary this week I'll be spending some time with her. It's good to be together again after 6 weeks of ministry on the road.

I'm still planning to be at a conference in Yellow Springs, OH this weekend. There is also an appointment in Pontiac, MI tomorrow evening. We'll probably stay here in Eaton Rapids until 4th day.

7/31/2010 -  Busy day today. We listened to some of the speakers and the conference here and ran an abbreviated video broadcast. After listening to more sermons we went to the river and baptized 3 believers in Yahushua's name (they drove here from Toronto to get baptized). Afterward I shared the kingdom message with the brethren here. May Yahweh use it as He sees fit.

7/30/2010 - It's amazing how many people here at the conference are speaking along the same lines as the message I'll be sharing tomorrow evening on the Kingdom. This is a work of Yahweh, no doubt about it. There are a lot of elders here. Pray that Yahweh begins a mighty work from this place.

7/29/2010 - Spent the day driving and getting set up on the campgrounds of the Assembly of Yahweh in Eaton Rapids, Michigan. If things go as expected, we will be doing the video broadcast from here. I plan to share the Kingdom message with the group here and will also try to broadcast it live at about 7:30PM ET on Shabbat. I spent... the evening fellowshipping and working on the study I plan to share for this week's broadcast.

7/28/2010 - Went to Holland, Michigan nearby and placed over 200 "True Way of Love" tracts on windshields of public parking spaces & lots. I walked into a Reformed Christian church there and spoke with 3 women who were standing around a piano, and asked what they believed. They seemed to highly regard the teachings of John Calvin. Of course, I'm all for reformation but I encouraged them to look further back than John Calvin. I shared with them that the first "communion" was actually Pesach. She wanted me to talk to her husband (the Pastor) who apparently has some interest in these things. I took his information and then gave them Hebrew Roots DVD's :)  We'll be heading to Eaton Rapids, Michigan tomorrow morning for the Unity Conference which begins the following day and lasts through the first day of the week.

7/27/2010 - We've been spending time getting to know the Leys family the last couple of days as their son & my daughter have been showing an interest in one another for awhile now. I worked on this week's broadcast study this morning & then printed out 200 tracts for distribution in the area. We attempted to distribute them at the local mall, but their security staff didn't like it so we'll be looking for another area tomorrow.

7/26/2010 - After some tearful goodbyes in Point Pleasant, WV after Shabbat we traveled to Zeeland, Michigan yesterday and met with the Leys family for the evening. We plan to do some ministry here with them and then travel to Eaton Rapids, Michigan later in the week for the Unity Conference where I plan to share the Kingdom message.

7/22/2010 - We decided to stay in Pt. Pleasant for the weekend to continue spreading the word and to encourage the brethren here. We've spent some time with the Clinton family and baptized 4 of them and officiated two remarriages in Yahweh's name. Please pray for them as they had a house fire last Dec. which nearly destroyed their home and they had no insurance. Their relative took them in but he persecuted them heavily for their walk with Yahweh while living there, even trying to feed pork to their children. They scraped what they could to get 2-3 rooms presentable and installed new wiring. They are currently living and sleeping in those rooms. Their bathroom has no bathtub or sink (they bathe at a neighbor's) and it has no drywall.

They didn't ask for a dime but after spending some time here, it's obvious to me that this is legitimate and brethren should not have to deal with this alone. Can we pull together & help them? If you can, contribute to the Alms fund at http://www.eliyah.com/alms.html and mention that it's for the Clinton family. May this town know that we are Yahushua's disciples by our love for one another.

See photos of the fire damage, taken on 7/23/2010.

7/21/2010 - Yesterday we went to the little lake here at the campground and baptized 4 of the local believers here in Yahushua's name. We then printed out 350 tracts about the importance of keeping the 3rd commandment and during the 'Wed. night' church services we placed them on the car windshields of all the churches we could find in Point Pleasant. We then had a bible study where I encouraged the family here to continue the work of Yahweh and helped clarify some things in the scriptures they were wondering about. They were encouraged & plan to continue tract distribution and make additional DVD's on the Hebrew Roots of Christianity off of the copies I gave them. They also plan to attend the Feast of Tabernacles in Eminence, MO.

7/20/2010 - We spent the day driving from Murphy, NC to Point Pleasant, WV. After arriving here around 7pm or so, we went over to visit brethren who are very zealous for Yahweh and strongly desiring to do ministry here. Baptisms in Yahushua's name are planned for the morning and we'll see where Yahweh leads from there.

7/19/2010 - The Looper family here in NC blessed us today with a free raft trip down the river for Kara & KolaYah (I opted to rest in preparation for long driving) and a visit to a place that lets you sift for Gems for Michelle and I. We handed out numerous Hebrew Roots DVD's to various Christians at the raft outfitters. We then visited with my step-grandfather who happens to live in this same town. Heading to western WV tomorrow, Yahweh willing.

7/18/2010 - I walked around the campground this morning and spoke with some of the people we met here as they were preparing to leave, handing them Hebrew Roots DVD's and cards. May Yahweh give the increase. We also met up with a group of brethren here and after some good fellowship and sharing about biblical baptism, I baptized 2 of them in Yahushua's name and also did a wedding ceremony for them to renew their commitment to one another. It was a blessing. I finished the day answering emails and attending to other maintenance needs.

7/16/2010 - Spent the day in preparation for the Shabbat and tomorrow's broadcast. I now have broadband through our cellular service which in many locations can be used to do the broadcast. The signal here along a river was weak so I purchased an external antenna which brought me to a nearly full strength signal. While in town I had a couple of comments on the shirt I was wearing and I handed out our card.

This evening we offered a 7pm bible study and an older couple was walking by and heard us playing music to Yahweh. We had a nice conversation with them and our 6 year old daughter sang a song for them. Later that evening, they invited us to the campfire to sing for them and their friends. So we all came over with our guitars and sang several songs in front of about 30 people who were gathered around the campfire. We used the name Yahweh in our music after a brief explanation. They seemed to enjoy the music and thanked us for coming over. I invited them all over for a bible study at 7pm tomorrow :)

7/15/2010 - This morning I noticed that the campground owner in LaGrange, GA had the Ten Commandments prominently displayed by the entry door. I sowed a seed in our conversation which I hope to water later by sending him a Hebrew Roots DVD. Afterward, we had some nice fellowship with another family in LaGrange area then we headed out toward Murphy, North Carolina. We did some more RV repairs and set things up for a stay here which could last until the 20th.

I didn't know it until today but my step grandfather lives here in Murphy (coincidence?) so we plan to visit them on the 19th. He was basically the one I knew as "Grandpa" in my earliest boyhood years.

There is a big gathering of seniors at this RV park over the the next few days so the park will be jam packed (another coincidence?). We plan on offering 7pm bible studies and distributing Hebrew Roots DVD's and/or tracts to any who are interested. Pray that we are given words to speak and that hearts are prepared to receive.

7/14/2010 - We finally left New Orleans to start making our way toward Murphy, North Carolina where we hope to/ spend a few days for Shabbat and do some baptisms. We stopped in LaGrange, Georgia to spend the night and were blessed by a brief visit with some fellow believers in the area. They were planning to visit some churches in the area to share about the Hebrew Roots so I tried to encourage them in the work. We had started our ministry trip not too far from here so I guess we've come full circle :) We may be meeting with some other believers in the morning before we head out again tomorrow afternoon.

I forgot to mention in yesterday's update that at the place I did the oil change, I ended up witnessing to the owner of the shop who was a Muslim. His Muslim father immigrated from Israel because he didn't agree with the violence. We had an interesting conversation that lasted an hour or so. It's not easy to witness to Arabs because it is so ingrained in their culture and family, but Yahweh can reach anyone. Let's all pray for him and his family.

7/13/2010 - Ended up staying in New Orleans an extra day to do some RV & truck maintenance/repairs, get groceries, get caught up on some regular ministry tasks, attend to some business matters and other things I've not had time to do. The starter in our truck is about to go out so I picked up another one. Yahweh willing, we will be leaving tomorrow morning for Georgia. Thanks for your prayers.

07/12/2010 - We and 2 other families went to an abortion clinic in New Orleans today and held up several signs, one of which said "Your baby loves you, give them a chance to say so." Another said, "We'll raise your baby until you can." One of the workers from the clinic came out and said sometimes people want help like that, so she asked for our contact information. Public reaction to our demonstration was mixed, as expected. Seeds were sown; may Yahweh give the increase. See photos

Afterward I stopped by the homeless shelter & gave them some DVD's & Eliyah.com cards. As I walked in, one of the men who heard yesterday's message wanted to speak with me, and after a nice conversation he mentioned that he would like to attend the Feast of Tabernacles in Eminence :)

We went back to Erik's home for a final time to say our goodbye's. He mentioned that his swimming pool gets oil in it when it rains :( In spite of the oil problem and various areas of the city still blemished by hurricane damage, it was a blessed time in New Orleans. Yahweh has a remnant and maybe He hasn't quite given up on this city.

07/11/2010 - We were given a warm welcome this morning at the homeless shelter to share an hour worth of praise music & bible study. I shared the Kingdom message & it was very well received. I mentioned that Yahweh can use homeless people because Yahushua Himself was homeless (Luke 9:58). It was followed by some good questions and discussion time afterward. We then went to Erik's place and ate, baptized 10 people in Yahushua's name & made signs for the demonstration at the abortion clinic tomorrow.

7/09/2010 - Spent the day catching up on some business issues and preparing the Sabbath study. Brother Erik came over and we talked about our plans for ministry here. We're hoping to visit the homeless shelter again on the first day of the week and share about the Kingdom, then see if any of them would like to join us for a demonstration in front of the local abortion clinic on the 12th. Looking forward to the broadcast tomorrow.

7/08/2010 - Quite a remarkable day today. We met up with a family in the local area this morning and visited the local homeless shelter. We found that the mission held bible studies 3 times a day where the Torah was being proclaimed as being for today, and they had a white board with the tetragrammaton on it, where it was evident that it was being explained!

I spoke with the brother doing the teaching for a while, then they played a DVD by Brad Scott. Then we all had fellowship with the brothers there. We also learned that they needed roofing and AC work. The brother I was with does roofing for a living and I used to be a HVAC/Refrigeration technician. So Yahweh had our day planned ahead of time.

The brother I was with today plans to continue the relationship with the homeless shelter and do what he can to assist them in various ways. He and his family seem pretty excited about taking ground for Yahweh in this area. We had a nice time of fellowship with them this evening and will be meeting again possibly as soon as tomorrow where I'm hoping to get time to meet with the brothers at the shelter and share with them the Kingdom message.

It's a blessing to know that after a devastating hurricane, Yahweh has been faithfully shining His light to the poorest of the poor in New Orleans.

What are the chances that out of all the homeless shelters in the Eastern USA, we would be ministering in one that was proclaiming the truth of Yahweh's Torah? He is faithful, praise Yahweh!

7/07/2010 - Traveled from Jacksonville to New Orleans today where we met with a family and plan to do some ministry for the homeless tomorrow. Pray for Yahweh to prepare the hearts of those we come in contact with and for us to be given the words to speak.

7/06/2010 - After some mechanical trouble with our truck, we went to the keys (on our own dime) and swam for about 40 minutes. We met with a brother at the campground around lunchtime and then traveled up to Jacksonville, FL to meet with the Tucker family. MaggiLu & Sonshine girls made a top notch meal for us (Thanks!). We'll be heading to New Orleans in the morning to meet with & baptize a family and also do some ministry with the homeless. The shelter there normally has a waiting list of 1-2 months but Yahweh opened the door for us to do some ministry there on the 8th...HalleluYah :) We're also hoping to do some ministry around the abortion clinic(s) in the area.

7/05/2010 - We met up with a local brother and went through the Jewish area of city of Miami Beach and passed out cards pointing them to the website www.findingmashiach.com. This is a site I'm developing to prove that Yahushua is the Messiah. We distributed 50 cards and also spoke about our faith to the leader of a Jewish library. Afterward, we met with one of the Messianic leaders and I shared with him about the need to call upon Yahweh's name. He said he'd pray about it. Heading back north tomorrow.

7/04/2010 - Visited a church in Homestead, FL this morning. In part, the pastor spoke against antinomianism (the belief that the law is done away with), and paganism being brought into the church of Pergamos in Revelation 3. I thought that it was no coincidence that Yahweh led me there to share with him the ways that mainstream churches contain these elements even today. I gave him the Hebrew Roots DVD and he said that he would watch it, and maybe even meet with me sometime. Hopefully he will.

Also baptized a brother from Miami today and met up some other brethren in the area (one of whom I hadn't seen in 7 years) and introduced them to each other. Heading to Miami Beach in the morning to witness and also meet yet another brother who invited us to visit. Hopefully they can all meet together. Yahweh has a quite a few people in this area, HalleluYah :)

7/03/2010 - Baptizing a brother from Miami today. This campground has a bar that plays loud music well past midnight. After completing my study for today's broadcast, I went over a spoke to a few people last night. People want acceptance, fellowship and camaraderie. Pray that Yahweh leads us to anyone that He would desire us to share the hope that is in us.
7/02/2010 - Currently in Florida City, FL where we plan to do the broadcast tomorrow. Pray for us as we are having some trials. Thanks.
7/01/2010 - Yet more baptisms in Yahushua's name today. We traveled to Mount Dora, FL and baptized a brother, then on to Ft. Pierce & Vero Beach to counsel with and baptize a mother and daughter. Pray for them... Frederick, Sabrina and Christina. We'll be heading to Miami in the morning where we plan to do our video broadcast at 12 noon ET this Sabbath. Pray that we will be a light wherever we go.
6/30/2010 - Currently in Port Orange, Florida where we visited & baptized 3 precious souls in Yahushua's name. We visited the Ocean nearby and played in the water a bit. I had a nice conversation there with a young Christian man who was pretty upset by the oil spill that may find its way to this beach one day. So sad. I ended up handing him my card and a Hebrew Roots DVD. Maybe we'll see him again sometime.
6/29/2010 - Wow! What a day we had yesterday. One brother was asking Yahweh in prayer for baptism and he gets a call from one of the brethren in this area asking if he would like to get baptized this weekend. Another brother was baptized on his birthday, and Yahweh brought 8 souls to the river for baptism in Yahushua's name. Also yesterday we also re-married another brother and his wife in the true names (they had married in "Jesus"). It just "happened" to be their anniversary :) Yahweh's timing is perfect, HalleluYah! I think Yahweh is "moving the cloud" toward Florida next.
6/28/2010 - Had a very nice visit with the White family in Macon, GA yesterday. We'll be heading to a river today to meet with some believers here in Georgia and baptize some of them in Yahushua's name.
6/24/2010 - We are currently in Warm Springs, GA

So how will this trip be financed? I cannot personally afford to pay the expenses of this trip so I am going "without money bag" and will be relying on Yahweh's provision through the contributions of His people.

I will be 100% accountable to you for how the funds are spent and will mostly need contributions toward fuel and campsite fees. We can cover our food expenses because we'll be in a camper and will fix food just like we are at home. We're using a 12 year old Suburban and pulling a 10 year old camper so pray that we have no major mechanical problems.

Amount currently in the fund: $475.26

Thank you to everyone who donated to this work. May Yahweh return the blessing to you, a hundredfold.

If we run out of funding for some reason, we'll take it as Yahweh's sign for us to pack up and go home. If we have extra funds at the end of the trip, it will either go into the general expense fund for EliYah.com or toward the next ministry trip.

Here is a map of our travels so far:
